Reflections

Sometimes I dream about running away and becoming a mermaid. Finding an old abandoned sailboat to live on, out in the middle of nowhere…

But then, I remember, I am from a landlocked state and can’t swim very well. So, instead, I’ll just day dream and reflect these hopes and dreams to my hands, creating sculptures until I learn to swim.

Maybe in my next lifetime I will come back as a mermaid.
