Bent, stiff and rusty, half buried in the soil.

A skeleton scattered and weathered amid the prairie grass dripping with morning dew.

Layers stripped, save the tangled wiring within.

Attached, grounded and in one piece.

A felled tree with a new sprout rises from the ground where it lies, a life force. Standing tall, a life within.
