Coyote dreams
A skeleton, drug across the prairie.
Stripped of all the layers save the sinew binding two worlds together.
Hibernating, watching, waiting. Restoring and reconnecting with my core.
Beat up rusty objects glisten with a touch of frost on the prairie.
Curled up, waiting for my soul to shine and play again.
Dreaming. The past and future become the present. I invite you to examine the bonds of life and death, respecting the living creatures after they have gone.
The old and new become one, me.
