“This Old House” was been muttered around my house more than once during the years of remodeling my childhood home where I now again reside. Her head is a similar shape to our actual house. The vintage ceramic insulators and copper wire came out of the walls that I live within. Overall, I strive to create balance between living a full life, studio time, and spending time in nature. My house is also a place to celebrate life with family and friends, as represented in the base, a old whiskey bottle. I enjoy finding new uses for discarded materials, similarly, replacing outdated feelings and emotions that no longer serve me, creating a new balance.
