My adventure of self-discovery is often a very solitary journey. Traveling to new places in my mind, or actual new places in the world, encourages me to be a better artist at every turn. As I find the perfect piece to meld my ceramic and mixed media assemblages together, it is the seemingly aimless gaze out the window that sparks a new course of discovery. This buoyancy allows for gentle navigation of waters unknown, a graceful floating downstream that moves me further along my expedition.
It is empowering to captain your own vessel, be it sailboat, raft or art studio. It is within this freedom that I experience breakthroughs and new navigable waterways in my artistic lifestyle.
