Living in the town and now the house I grew up in gives me strong roots in our community. Driving on the open prairie, I never tire of watching the pronghorn roam through my unrolled car window, the wind blowing in my face. On walks through and around our prairie town, I pick up and recycle interesting rusty objects as well as natural items for my sculptures, breathing new life into something lost or abandoned. The mirror places you, the viewer in the landscape, bringing varied perspectives to the piece.
